Define new stock status category?
We are using 4.6C.Is it possible to define a new stock status category in addition to the standard Q for Quality Hold,S for Blocked,and R for Customer Return?Would like to copy the characteristics of Q so stocks would still be considered in MRP runs but would not allow deliveries to be created against it.We have not implemented Quality Management.Thanks in advance!

Hi,It is not really possible to create a new stock status because so many of the SAP programs have in built code to manage the existing statuses and they would simply not work with a new one.But surely you can use the Blocked stock instead of a new "Q" stock? You can configure it to be available for MRP and yet it will not be considered for available stock elsewhere?Steve Birchall 查看原帖
