Abstract:San Mao is a renowned writer from Taiwan China.During more than twenty years from 1976 to 1990,San Mao published several corpus.And among them,which writed on the basis of her life in The Sarala desert named 'The Story of Sarala' is the most popular.With the published of 'The Stroy of Sarala',she shot to fame,and established her status in literature.This story not only lead the readers into mysterious and ancient desert,but also show San Mao who with ture colors and special aesthetic to us.San Mao's aesthetic break through the traditional art's standards,she absorbed beneficial pabulum from desert culture,and formed her own aesthetic.San Mao's unique aesthetic and the influence of the Sarala--this amazing land--to San Mao's aesthetic have showed really well in 'The Story of Sarala'.
