It is common opinion that when one gets to the legal age of adulthood,they are no longer obligated to live with their parents.In most cases,these young adults couldn't wait to move out of their parents' home and start their own life.And they are generally taught that you should try to make your own living as soon as you are old enough and not depend on your parents.
Since most yound adults don't really have enough resources for purchasing a home right away,so they usually rent for a period of time before they save up enough money for the downpayment.And when they are ready,financially and mentally,they will purchase their own homes and eventually start their own families.
