1,可以用life,life指生活,live不搭边,lives是生命life的复数形式.
2,are在这里是习惯倒装
3,child用单数只是因为有average,就相当于一个代表整体的元素,然后blablabla
4,does和刚才的are一样是习惯倒装.
5,不是tempting as而是tempting (as such claim might be),让步状语从句,说之前讲了一个什么claim,虽然他很tempting,但是这个claim很可能是假的.
