高中英语作文：The advantages and disadvantages of television.

1) watching TV can increase our knowledge;
(2) can improve our imagination;
(3) can understand some of state affairs. Disadvantages:
Television can be an important tool for culture, the information. TV programs abound educational and entertaining, is also the source of knowledge. Sitting at home can know national and world events. But current TV, some of the contents of the programmes to watch is not suitable for children, parents should pay attention to the contents of the programmes, accompany children to see together, they explain, induction, education, development the child has a rich cultural life, intelligence, will benefit not shallow.

坏处：
电视是传播文化、信息的重要工具.电视节目富于教育性和娱乐性,也是知识的源泉.坐在家里就可知道国家和世界大事.但是目前电视中有一些节目内容不适合儿童观看,父母要注意节目内容,陪同孩子一起看,对他们进行诱导、讲解,孩子受到教育、开发了智力、丰富文娱生活,将受益不浅.
