lend和borrow的区别是什么?

lend是自己的借给别人

如：We are prepared to lend you the money with no strings attached.
我们准备出借这笔钱,不附加任何条件.
I was unwilling to lend her my comb.
　 我不愿把梳子借给她.

borrow是从别人那里借过来
　
The gift of money saved our having to borrow from the bank.
　 有了这笔赠款我们就不用向银行借钱了.
