Youth is not a time of life,it is a state of mind ; it is not rosy cheeks ,red lips and supple knees,it is a matter of the emotions :it is the freshness ; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life .
Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite ,for adventure over the love of ease.This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 .Nobody grows old merely by a number of years .We grow old by deserting our ideals.
Years wrinkle the skin ,but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul .Worry ,fear ,self distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust .
Whether 60 of 16 ,there is in every human being ‘s heart the lure of wonders,the unfailing childlike appetite of what’s next and the joy of the game of living .In the center of your heart and my heart there’s a wireless station :so long as it receives messages of beauty ,hope ,cheer,courage and power from men and from the infinite,so long as you are young .
When the aerials are down ,and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism,then you are grown old ,even at 20 ,but as long as your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism ,there is hope you may die young at 80.
Nowadays students’ monthly expenditure is becoming more and more,which is harmful for themselves but also a heavy burden for the families.I would like to share several methods to reduce the money they spend without having to live harder.
Firstly you can withdraw less money every time,say 200 Yuan instead of 500 Yuan,which is effective and easy to practice.Too much cash has hardly ever supported us until the intended time to withdraw another sum of money as it is always disappearing almost without any attention,while a little money usually can last for an unexpectedly long time.
Moreover,reduce the time you go shopping or go to the super market.Make a list of necessary things in times of having to go.Most people,especially girls,like to wander around the supermarket to come across with something attracting them,which is quite time-consuming and will cost them a lot of unplanned spending.To avoid this,you should hold your shopping list to go ahead straight to what you are in need of and pick them up without looking at other things.The things you haven’t seen would definitely not cost you a good life quality.Plus,avoid any kind of snacks,as they cost your health as well as your money.
In addition,make a plan at the beginning of the month,and even a rough one is helpful.Keep account at the same time.Both of the above can remind you of your plan to resist unnecessary cost.
