在雨中的英文为什么要写in the rain不写in rain?

有意思,好学生,很多学生看到自己的课文里这样写都不会问这个为什么.我们所熟悉的自然现象前一般要加定冠词,the weather,the rain,the wind,甚至于the sea,the mountain.I love listening to the wind.British people talk about the weather a lot.这里都不是特指,这样的例子甚至可以引伸到bus,street等日常习惯的事物,man in the street普通人,I am on the bus我可没说在某个特定的巴士上.而且这种用法也不违背定冠词的用途,因为是你说熟悉的环境,故它在某种意义上是specific的
