I joined the volunteer group of Shanghai last year. It is a quite big organization and has totally 200 people with 10 people a team. The main task is to take care of those aged people in the resthome on the weekend. This tase includes daily nursing and entertainment and so on. In the team, I am responsible for feeding (the food to) the aged people who are not able to take care of themselves. The job sounds easy but it is not easy at all when you do it. First you need to give the menu to her for choosing the food she wants. Then inform the assistant of the kitchen. Afterwards, you take the food back, put on the apron/napkin for her then start feeding her. The reason why I was assigned to this job is that I am a nurse and completed many trainings on feeding. Moreover I am very patient.
