How do you understand American individualism and Chinese col

American is more expressive than the Asian who are more subtle or elusive in character.Hence,American is deemed to be individualism as Chinese is collectivism - but I think it is more the culture and brought up which make the difference.To be independent and self reliant vs the family/blood bonding which reflects back in centuries when the industrialization in the west but in the east,it was still in the monarchy era,the tradition of family,society,and state are defined and ruled accordingly i.e.the Confucianism was then the "bible" for the ming and qing dynasties.The layers of span of controls and orders were well established,hence,it is said to be collectivism though it may not be true after the new china.
