1. In the coming summer holiday, I am going to do a lot of interesting things.
First, I will finish my holiday homework. Second, I am going to have a good
rest. I am going to play computer games or listen to music when I am free,
because I like them very much. But I am not good at them now. Then, I will join
a basketball club to play basketball. Even if I was a girl, I like basketball
very much. It can not only make me become sunny, cheerful, but also can make me
healthy. Finally, I am going to visit some of my friends. We are going to play
together. Maybe we will go sightseeing.
I think I will have a great summer holiday.

2.I like English most, because English is so popular these days. As far as I’m
concerned, English is a well-known international language. If I could speak
English well, I would be able to communicate with the people all over the world.
Nowadays, English is widely used in news, business, communication and
tourism. Especially after China enters WTO, our country needs more genius who is
good at English. Mastering English can help us find more job opportunities.
What’s more, some English speaking countries like Australia, New Zealand,
America and Canada are very beautiful. I want to travel to these countries very
much. So I must learn English well.

4.I was only nine years old when I learnt how to use a computer. My mother is my
first teacher. I know how to type, how to copy a file, and how to visit a web
site on the internet. One day, mom was not at home.
I turned on the
computer and began to learn how to chat on net. The first one I met there was a
boy called tom. He greeted me politely. When he knew that I was only a
9-year-old girl, and almost knew nothing about chatting on net, he started
showing me how to use the chatting tools, how to download, and how to send
e-mails. I learnt a lot from him.

5.Some of us always spend Sundays aimlessly. We can seldom derive profits from the
valuable hours (time) of Sundays. This is indeed a great pity. Though Sundays
are set aside as a day for rest, we must make good use of them.
We know that our school lessons are usually not sufficient. We should often
utilize Sundays to read reference books. In this way we will increase our
knowledge. Besides, we must be engaged in sports or outing so as to strengthen
our bodies.
