Scarlett的第一次婚姻相当冲动和盲目.她自身条件好,从小就是众人的宠儿,早已习惯众多的年轻男子围绕身边的感觉,像Brent和Stew兄弟等,从来都是把她捧在手心里.Scarlett年轻的心里盛满了骄傲,几乎不懂什么是失败.她以为她喜欢的Ashley也会喜欢她,可是听到Ashley要娶MELANIE,她大为震惊,她一直以为Ashley爱慕的是自己.在表白遭到Ashley拒绝后,她又羞又恨.为了弥补内心的失落感和证明自己仍然是最受欢迎的女孩,她几乎是主动迷倒了Charles.Charles是个不错的男孩,英俊,家境好,非常喜欢他,更重要的他是Ashley的弟弟.于是她赌气嫁给了Charles.

第三次,Frank死后,她终于嫁给了一直深深爱着她的Rhett.但她并不爱Rhett.她心里还是一直都存在着Ashley的身影.一直到最后彻底失去Rhett的心,她才恍然意识到自己到底爱谁.
3次婚姻的相同点是：都不是出于自己的真爱,而是有一定的目的性和冲动性.
不同点：第一次出于赌气,嫁给自己完全不爱的人,只是为了气一气自己喜欢的人.
第二次出于生活压力,为了搞到钱去勾引妹妹的男友.
第三次则别无选择,只有Rhett不计前嫌的爱她,想要娶她,而她也想换个环境,就嫁了.直到这段婚姻解体,她才发现自己是爱Rhett的.
The first marriage of Scarlett is very impulsive and unreasoning.She was a beauty and feels good of herself all the time.She was the favourite girl of every man in her hometown.She didn't know the meaning of failure until she was rejected by Ashley when she told him that she loved him.After this hit,she felt so embarrassed and angry that she married Ashley's brother in a fit of pique in order to revenge.Actually,she revenged to no one but herself.
Scarlett's second wedding is somehow more reasonable but still lacking of deep consideration.It was out of the pressure of life.When she's ex-husband died in the war,she fell into shortage of money.She became a poor.She missed her glory life in her youth very much,she didn't want to be a poor.She wanted a better life.So she tolled and married an old wealthy man who was the boyfriend of her younger sister.With her second husband's help,she could support her family and life became much better.
She's last marriage was the best one,but she didn't love the man she married either.She married him just because he loved her all the time and didn't care much about her past,and she wanted to go to a new city to make some changes.
The sameness of her three marriages is that she doesn't love the man she marries.She is just out of some purposes.And because of this,she loses the man she really loves---Rhett,at last.
The divercities of her three marriages are:
1.The first one is only out of impulse,anger and madness.
2.The second one is because of the pressure of life.She has to raise her family and lacks of money.
3.She has no other choice but to marry Rhett.Rhett loves her all the time and she needs some fresh air to change her life style.
