A Short Story about a Pig and a Calf
Once upon a time, a hunter captured a pig and a calf and raised them up because of their cuteness.
The calf was big and ate too much, so the hunter would make it into the fields to torture it. The calf was very honest . It ate grass and worked hard every day. The calf always kept silent even it was beated by the hunter. With time going on, the calf became more and more strong and did a better job. The hunter liked the calf more than before.
The pig was relatively small.The hunter gave it some good food to eat, and wouldn't make it work everyday. The pig thought that the hunter petted it, so it ate and slept every day and did nothing at all. But a few months later, the pig became bigger and fatter and the hunter let it work in the field. The Pig walked for a long time to get to the fields. Before starting its work, It felt very tired and soon felt asleep. The hunter was very angry and killed it for meat to celebrate the Spring Festival .
Later, cattle are always kept to work in the field because of its hardness, while pigs, are always fed to be killed for meat because of its laziness.
