Do something for the environment
Thanks for the EXPO,Shanghai is becoming cleaner and better.We can enjoy nicer flowers and greener trees and grass.The street are cleaner than before.But we must relize we still have a lot of work to do for the environment.What can we do for the environment?
First,we must understand the English saying take care of pence and the pounds will take care of themselves.So we don’t have to do from now on.For example,we can pick up the small piece of paper,write the words on both sides of the paper,save every drops of water and turn off TV and the lights when we leave the rooms and so on.We can do many things like these.Our city will be better an better.
Second,we must understand that not all the rubbish is useless.Look at the pictures,the students collected the colourful bottle caps in their free time.Students used the caps to write a sentence to remind us that everyone should do something for the environment.Do you agree with them?
