1.Yes i have,so has everyone else at some point in their life whether it was on purpose or not.The last time i remember having vegetarian food was about a week ago when i had rice with tofu and some other vegetables for lunch.
2.Not seriously,no.I guess I had thought about it for fun at some point,i tried to imagine what it would like to be vegetarian,life without meat would be rough i thought,so i gave up that though rather quickly.
3.Not personally,vegetarian are almost unheard of in china,i mean some people might be picky about what kind of meat tthey like but pure vegetarians would be very rare here.however to my understanding buddhists monks are supposed to vegetarian for religious purposes
4.Yes i do,well some of them anway,.I know some friends of mine eat nothing but meat fairly often.i am no nutriational expert but i believe a balanced diet with grains and vegetables should be much healthier than the diet those firends of mine are on.i cannot blame them for doing that,meat does taste better,but i try to stay on a more balanced diet
5.Sometimes,sure,but i dont see myself becoming vegetarian,so if vege food was offered at lunchtime,i would buy it from time to time if it tastes good and is not overly expensive.
6.Bean related products like tofu would be most popular with students i think,because of the fact they can processed in such a way that it tastes almost just like meat,texture wise anyway and there are lots of different variety of bean products to choose from so students dont get bored with easily.Personally im also a big fan of eggplants,one of my favourite vegetarian food and should be liked by many others too
7.absolutely,schools play a big part in shaping out students' lives in my opinion.i believe schools should prepare students not just academicly but physically too,which is why we have physical education lessons throughout our student life all the way to tertiary studies,but in the aspect of promoting healthy eating i believe most schools arent placing enough focus on it as of yet.
8.i guess it would be difficult to be vegetarian because the food choices for vegetarians are much more limited as opposed to those not bound by the rules of vegetarianism,when i comes to getting all the necessary nutritions like iron and protein.besides that i think it is an undeniable fact that meat just tastes better,even most vegetarians would admit they are not vegetarian because vegetarian food tastes better than meat.
9.yes i do.while vegetarianism is not for everyone but eating some vegetarian food to maintain a balanced diet would be good for people's health and as it stands right now there just arent enough information out there about the benefits vegetarian food for peoples health.
10.well i think mostly because of their own beliefs regarding where the food come from.i mean almost everyone wouldnt think about where the food has come from when they are eating.most of the meat that we eat come from slaugther houses where animals are slaugthered before they reach their natural end which is unfortunate for them.and to think those animals are all bred to be slaugthered,the vegetarians would feel bad about eating them which is the biggest reason why some people choose to become vegetarians.while i believe humans should treat nature and animals with respect and consideration,us being at the top of the food chain in earth is just part of the natural order too
