Although Ricky Jones is blessed with a voice that is silk to one's ears,his first CD was a little disappointing.I would like to have heard more of the covers he sang on Planet Groove,the first time I ever saw him.When he sang Smokey Robinson's Ooohh,Baby,Baby,it was as if GenerationX had found their balladeer of the decade.Although the CD is mellow and pleasant,it was not what I expected.I will,however,be looking for future efforts by this very talented young man!

MUSIC IS VERY NICE AND SMOOTH.WAS DISAPPOINTED BY THE AIRPLAY.GREAT VOICE.NEED MORE MARKETTING EFFORT.RICKY JONES HAS A VOICE THAT COULD GO FAR INTO THE FUTURE.
I love Ricky's music and I enjoy whatching him perform on stage...He really digs his music and it shows.The songs he chooses are very strong in expressing a sense of reality around us,as well as "hitting home" on a light note.Check this dude out.Waiting for more music.

A lovely song from the super-talented and fine singer/songwriter Ricky Jones,who got his start singing with the R&B trio Yours Truly on Motown in the early 90's.This underrated tune was penned and produced by Ricky along with Melissa Ritter and Eric Jackson,and appears on his self-titled solo album.
