any other的用法

any other的用法,是指在同一范围内除了某人或某物以外的其他人或事物,any other后跟单数名词,也可以说any of the other+复数名词.如：
1,Tom runs faster than any other student(或any of the other students)in his class.
汤姆比他班上的任何人都跑得快.
2,Shanghai is langer than other city in China.
上海比中国的任何一个城市都大.
any一般用于否定句和疑问句,可修饰 可数名词的复数 或 不可数名词
如：
any＋可数名词的复数
Are there any stamps in that drawer?
那抽屉里有邮票吗?
any+不可数名词
I didn't eat any meat.
我一点儿肉也没吃.
当any用于肯定句时与单数可数名词连用表示“任何一……”
如：
Take any book you like.
