Human beings need to study history because we need to learn from our past mistakes to improve our present and future, so that we won't make the same mistakes again. History provides us with many lessons and experiences, and it's very important to fill ourselves with knowledge of the past. Also, in order to understand why we are where we are right now, we need to know what had happened in the past. If we don't study history, then we will be uneducated of our ancestors and we won't know where we are from. In essence, history is very important to our well-beings and it shapes our relations with other people greatly.
