A three years late thanks for your help in 2007.
After that,Our IACUC reorganized,and I`m no longer the chiarman.Our institute is now an AAALAC full accredited orgnization.
I am seek help from you again:

At an recently online chat,a researcher member,the QA member and I discussed hotly on if it`s acceptable to put the SD and Wistar Rats in one room for different toxiology studies.We breeding SD and Wistar Rats on different shelves with distinguishing labels according to studies.The SD and Wistar Rats used in these studies are under the same pathogen control level.
There are three Views as follows:
Researcher:Acceptable
QA(Quality assurance personnel):Absolutely unacceptable
Veterinary(It is me):Partly Acceptable
[My thinks]
As is known to all,different animals must breeding in distinguishing areas.so,I may not accepted the case.But,I am hesitated what is the difference between animals?is it at speices or strains & lines level?or case by case?
