This stem from Chinese art of paper folding which originates in China and dates back 583A.D. A large amount of paper was carried by Buddhists from Chinato Korea and Japan. Since paper was very precious at that time, they used paper with meticulous care and thus paper folding became one part of diplomatic etiquette. The art of paper folding was passed down from generation to generation. Inovational creation can be attained by the practice of paper folding. Nowadays, it is not a childish game anymore but a beneficial creation that can be both challaging and thought-provoking. Paper folding can be appllied to architecture and thus shows a sort of continuity.
