二、从句中的关联词 as 是代词,充当 known her 的宾语补足语,有两种理解法——
1、关系代词,指代前面曾经提到过的或者后面要提到的句子,比如：
--She had not changed,as he had always known her.
--As he had always known her, she had not changed.
as 指代句子 she had not changed 因此从句可以改写为：
—— he had always known her that she had not changed.
2、连接代词：在脱离上下文 的情况下,as 也可以理解为指代 the same manner（老样子）或 the same way（一样的方式）.因此问题中的这个句子也可以改写为：
—— She was almost exactly the same manne/way that he had always known her.
