中国婚礼风俗礼仪
1.食汤圆：新郎在结婚出发前,要与父母兄弟及闺中女友一起吃汤圆,表示离别,母亲喂女儿汤圆,新娘哭.
2.讨喜：新郎与女方家人见面后,应持捧花给房中待嫁这新娘,此时,新娘之女友要故意拦住新郎,可是条件要新郎答应,通常都以红包礼成交.
3.拜别：新娘应叩别父母道别,而新郎仅鞠躬行礼即可.
4.出门：新娘应由一位福份高的女性长辈持竹匾或黑伞护其走至礼车,因为新娘头顶不能见阳光,另一方希望像这位女性长辈一样,过着幸福美满的生活.(注：准备竹匾,并在上面贴上喜字)
5.礼车：竹匾可置于礼车后盖.
6.敬扇：新娘上礼车前,由一名吉祥之小男孩持扇给新娘(置于茶盘上)新娘则回赠红包答谢.(注：准备一把扎有两个小红包的扇子)
7.不说再见：当所有人离开女方家门时,决不可向女方家人说再见.
8.掷扇：礼车启动后,新娘应将扇子掷到窗外,意谓不将坏性子带到婆家,小男孩将扇子捡起后交给女方家人,女方家人回赠红包答谢.
9.燃炮：礼车离开女方家燃放鞭炮.
10.摸桔子：礼车至男方家,由一位拿着两个桔子的小孩来迎接新人,新娘要轻摸一下桔子,然后赠红包答谢.
11.牵新娘：新娘下车时,应由男方一位有福气之长辈持竹匾顶在新娘头上,并扶持新娘进入大厅.
12.忌踩门槛,要跨过门槛.
13.过火盆,踩瓦片：新娘进入大厅后,要跨过火盆,并踩碎瓦片.
14.进洞房：新人一起坐在预先垫有新郎长裤的长椅上,谓两人从此一心并求日后生男.不准有任何男人进入洞房.(进洞房要选订时辰)
15.忌坐新床：婚礼当天,任何人皆不可坐新床,新娘更不能躺下以免一年到头病倒在床上.另外,安床后到新婚前夜,要找个未成年的男童,和新郎一起睡在床上.
16.燃鞭炮,赴喜宴：礼车离开洞房,燃放鞭炮.
17.进入宾馆休息室(蜜月套房),好友来看新娘.
Traditional Chinese Wedding Ceremony
1. Eating tangyuan(a kind of desert made of sticky rice and stuffed with sweet of salt stuffings). The bride have to eat tangyuan with his parents and girlhood friends, this action represents department. Mother feeds the bride with tangyuan and the bride cries.
2. Begging for wedding gift. When a groom meets with a bride's familly members, he should sent a bouquet to the bride, and the bride's girlfriend stop the groom of doing this intentionally. They give out certain condition to allow his pass, usually somemoney wraped in a red envolope.
3. Farewell to the familly. The bride should knock her head to her parents while the groom only bows.
4. Departing. The bride should be guided to the wedding car by a senior female member of the familly who holds a bamboo plaque or black unbrella, because the bride can't be exposed to the sunshine. It also shows the best wish for the bride to live a happy life as this senior female familly member．(PS. Prepare a plaque sticked with a red character "喜" which means happyness)
5. Wedding Car. The bamboo plaque can be placed on the back hood.
6. Present a fan. Before the bride step into the wedding car, a lucky little boy presents a fan (put on a tray)to the bride and the bride gives a red envolope back the little boy. (PS, prepare a fan attached with to little red envolopes)
7.Never say goodbye. When everybody's leaving the bride's home, nobody says goodbye to the bride's familly.
8. Throwing the fan. When the bride's in the wedding car, she throws the fan out of the window. It means that she won't bring her bad temper to her husband's home. The little boy picks up the fan and gives it to the bride's familly, they give him another little red envolope.
9. Set off the firecracker. The bride's familly sets off firecrackers when the wedding car's departing.
10. Touching orange. When the wedding car arrives at the groom's house, a child holding two oranges comes to greet the couple. The bride has to touch the oranges and give out a red envolope as appreciation.
11. Guiding the bride. When the bride step off the wedding car, a senior lucky member of the groom's familly supports the bride with his/her hands to walk into the hall while holding the bamboo plaque above the bride's head.
12.Never step on the doorstill, step over it.
13.Step over the fire bason and walk through tiles. The bride walks in the hall and step over the fire bason and tread down the tiles.
14. Enter the wedding chamber. The couple set on a coach that underlaid groom's trousers, means the couple together make a son. No male enter the wedding chamber.(The time of entering the wedding chamber should be chosen)
15. Never set on the wedding bed. At the wedding day, nobody can set on the wedding bed. Especially the bride can't lay down on the bed, because this movement might imply her illness and stay in bed in the future. Moreover, from the time that the bed was placed till the wedding eve, the groom should sleep with an under age male on that bed.
16. Set off firecracker, begin the banquet. The wedding car leaves the wedding chamber, firecrackers set off.
17. Enter the lobby(honeymoon suite). Friends come to visit the bride.
