I love my hometown and I believe it is a good place for a young person to live.This is because I think my hometown has good schools for young people to educate and at the same time,it also has places for young people to enjoy,such as parks,movie theatres and pubs.
My hometown is a small but beautiful villiage.Which suround by small river and mountain hill.Athough the transport is not convinuent ,we are glad to live in it.Beside the geographical reason ,the people who live their are my family,my frends and my neighbours.The young generation grow up in such environment,will learn to have a passion of love with nature.
The Summer Palace (Yiheyuan) is a palace in Beijing,China.
The initial construction of the Summer Palace began in 1750.Artisans reproduced the garden architecture styles of various palaces in China.
It was ransacked,together with the Old Summer Palace in 1860 by French and British troops during the second Opium War.In 1888,Empress Dowager Cixi diverted 30 million taels of silver,said to be originally designated for the Chinese navy,into the reconstruction and enlargement of the Summer Palace.
The Summer Palace has been listed by the UNESCO as one of the World Heritage Sites.
