What does the word galoobooshka mean

I dont understand it either,but i googled it for u.it is said that the word came from russian.
"It has nothing to do with grandmother (babushka),and there is no direct translation for galoobooshka.However,when someone says this to you it's more like "hello sweetie." Its hard to translate,but its a good word.This is something you could say to a wife,daughter,granddaughter,an adult saying it to a young girl,etc."
