一 冠词the 的基本用法:
1.用在对方都知道的人或事物前.如:
Close the door,please.
Boys and girls ,look at the blackboard.
2.特指某些人或事物.如:
Who"s the girl in blue?
3.指上文提到的人或事物.如:
There is a monkey in the tree .The monkey is eating bananas.
A woman is comming .The woman is our English teacher .
4.用在序数词或形容词的最高级前 .如:
the third day
Elephants are the biggest animals on land .
5用于表示世界上独一无二的事物前.如 the sun
6.用于复数姓氏之前,表示"夫妇""全家"
7.用于发明物前.
8.在某些习惯用语或固定词组中.如:
in the same class .
on the left (用于方位名词前)
play the violin (用于乐器名词前)
in the afternoon
9.用于普通名词构成的专有名词之前.
10.用于江河\海洋\海峡\山脉\群岛\建筑物等名词之前.如:
The English Channel divides England from France.

二.不用冠词的情况.
1.在星期\月份\季节\节日名词前不用冠词.
2.在专有名词和不可数名词前不用冠词.
3.名词前已有this ,that,my,your,some,any,every,each等限定词修饰时不用冠词 .
4.在一日三餐\球类\棋类运动前不用冠词.
5.在某些固定的词组中.
