Senior Buyer of E-commerce (Cosmetics/ Apparel )
Responsibility:
- Develop business plan to grow E-Commerce sales and profit aggressively.This includes an on line approach to category development,seasonal item,thematic promotion,tab and new store,co-operation with Ops,Logistics,Marketing and other relevant depts.on execution of the plan,review and analyze sales report to monitor and identify opportunity and make decision to achieve financial budget on sales,margin and inventory control.
- Develop and realize new product segment opportunities; spot new trends and growth opportunities in the market and how to take use our online business to convert to sales and profits.
- Take leadership role on financial budget roll down and process management at dept level for E-Commerce business.
- Monitor and identify cost components and trends by reviewing market data,shopping competitors online,understanding customer surveys,utilizing supplier resources and attending trade shows to evaluate category performance and set up category development strategy to meet customer needs,maximize opportunities to profit and realize price leadership.
- Develop and maintain right assortment of items online for different Banners (Sam’s Club and Walmart); coordination with HO and regional buyer to maximize multi-channel synergy; make reasonable judgments and decision on item’s pricing,and speed to market on new items.
- Find,develop,maintain and monitor the supplier base to build online edge.Carry out effective supplier resources management and periodically conduct sales plan and performance review to make sure the on-line business gets supplier’s guarantee of new item,exclusive item,promotion program and in-stock.
- Continuously monitor sales and supplier chain,find out root causes of problems,simplify work,improve performance,and remove obstacles to achieving results.
- Take leadership role on corporate projects through cross dept collaborate with other individuals or suppliers to support various business needs,like CSI,Sustainability etc.
The ability to set,implement and enforce priorities and plans to coordinate multiple work activities.
- Ability and willingness to generate or implement new ideas or recommendations to improve work efficiencies,productivity and customer service.
- The ability to work as a team player by helping other co-workers,share information and encourage other team members,
