AM-Frequency Sweep Test
The Bohlin’s Dynamic Shear Rheometer (DSR) was used to determine the complex
shear modulus (G*) of AM at high and intermediate temperatures.The frequency
sweep test was conducted at frequency levels of 1 Hz through 60 Hz at log-increments
at temperatures of 15,20,25,34,46,58 and 64oC.The test was conducted under the
controlled stress mode.The applied shear stress at each temperature was selected such

the AM.The test was terminated at load repetitions of 10,000 cycles.The preconditioning
of the AM was done by applying 200 cycles of loading at a frequency of
10 Hz before conducting the actual fatigue test.The G* was plotted as a function of the
number of load repetitions to identify the fatigue failure in the mixture.
