The sports meet was great fun.
I was sitting on the spectators stand,and had greatly enjoyed myself.I could see the student athletes competing in various races and competitions - Short put,discus,long distance running,high jump,triple jump...It was an eye opener for someone who usually does not exercise much,and it was indeed amazing to see records being broken,and new and unbelievable records being set.As I sit and watch them running at their optimum speed,or as they nervously prepare themselves for the last jump of their seasons,I could sense the hyped up atmosphere all around me with people cheering their friends on.
I hope one day,I will be determined enough to pick up a sport,and perhaps,stand on the same competing ground as those athletes.They have inspired me to always aim for a high target,and persevere through harships in trainings.
