镁合金是目前实际应用中最轻的金属结构材料,具有比重小、比强度、比刚度高、导热导电性好、阻尼性、切削加工性好等优点.近年来人们相继开发了Mg-Y-Nd-Zr和Mg-Gd-Y-Zr等新型的高强耐热镁合金.本研究主要针对Mg-Gd-Y-Zr合金的组织性能及热处理对其的影响得到如下主要结论:1)铸态合金的显微组织由镁基固溶体和铸造第二相组成,析出相主要沿晶界形成不连续的条网状共晶组织,而晶内含量较少.晶粒呈菊花状,尺寸约为50μm.2)受非平衡凝固作用,合金中Y和Gd固溶度较大,在合金内趋于均匀分布,第二相主要为的Mg 24 Y5、Mg12ZnY和Mg 5 Gd,具有点状、针状和条块状等不同形态.3)经T6处理后的合金,晶粒由菊花状向球状转化,晶粒尺寸略有长大,而析出相的形态、尺寸、分布和数量均发生明显变化.4)Gd元素的少量添加使基体合金的强度和塑性均得到提高在T6处理后合金的硬度提高不明显甚至出现比初始态的硬度略低的现象,最优固溶条件为530℃4h.合金的最优时效温度为225℃,达到峰值时效的时间为12h.
