ase sth on：把某事建立在．．．基础上
可以用basing,也可以用based.原因并不复杂————base 的基本用法是：
base sth on sth else——sth be based on sth
如果作状语,强调句子主语是该动作的执行者,并与该动作是主动关系,就可以用basing;如果句子主语与该动作是被动关系,就用based.
如果作定语,突出【某物是以什么为基础】,那就要用被动关系,即用过去分词based作定语.
例如：
【Basing】 his study on the foundation of hard work ,【Jack 】has made gradual progress this term.
【Based】on the foundation of hard work ,【Jack's study 】has got better this term.
Jack's study ,【based】on the foundation of hard work ,has got better this term.
