prepare和prepare for 两者在用法上一般都可以互相转换,但是从本质上看它们还是有差别的,只要注意一下它们后面所接的对象就可以了.1）prepare:准备,后接直接准备的对象,谓语动作直接体现在宾语上.eg.Mother is preparing lunch.（母亲正在准备午饭.） 2）prepare for:为……作准备,for 后的宾语为准备的目的.eg.The students are preparing for the exam.（学生们正在为考试作准备.） 3）prepare……for……为……作准备…… eg.The students are preparing their lessons for the final exam.（学生们正在为期末考试作准备.）
