Should alcohol or tobacco companies be allowed to advertise?

i do not think that alcohol or tobacco companies should be allowed to advertise to public. People like them because they enjoy their time with alcohol and tobacco to relax. I think disadvantages of alcohol and tobacco are much more than their advantages. The most disadvantage is alcohol and tobacco are much harmful to people's health, reduce people's life span. Althought alcohol is useful in some place such as hospital, but this is not the reason for excessive drinking. And tobacco? i can't see any advantages about it, people can use lots of things instead of cigarettes, such as sugar, cookies, preserved fruit and so on. So, alcohol and tobacco are not necessary in people's daily life, and alcohol or tobacco companies should not be allowed to advertise to public.
