A Meaningful Day In The Alma Mater
Februry 16th Monday Sunny
Today I paid a visit to my alma mater.In the morning,I was showed around by a teacher,finding delightly that my school was enlarged,the size of whom once larger than that in the past.Some new teaching buildings and labarotories standed in the schooyard,which were designed todo some research for teachers and students.
At noon,according to my arrangement,I made a survey by offering problems to the students in papers so as to learn about something about their study and life.
In the afternoon,I gave a lecture on how to improve the English,which lasted two and half an hour.After that,I answered some probloms came up with by my young scoolmates.
Through the whole day,I was busy but happy.I experienced a meaningful day
My First Day In The University2007-09-07 10:56I still remembered the day when I entered into Xi’an International Studied University.It was September 7th,2003,my grandpa ,my father and I started our joinery on the road.I was so exciting that I watched everything out of the window ,it was still early in the morning ,the environment around is quiet and beautiful.I like this feeling ,no interruption ,and little noise,I was full of curious and happy because don’t know what will happened in the next minute.I should say my dreams have starting from then on.
When we arrived the university ,it was not over 8 o’clock,then we have time to walk around.It was a big campus ,has established more than 50 years ,and decorated in anniversary of the founding of a school 2002.Therefore it looks beautiful and unique.
Then my father helped me to carry all the baggage to my dormitory.There I met one of my roommates and who becomes my best and close friend in the following four years.She shacked my hand suddenly and said to me :“Nice to meet you ,and hope we are friends .” You didn’t looked at my facial expression,I think it was must be stupid ,I didn’t know how to answered her ,I only give her a bright smile ,it was my last weapon .
After making up my bed ,we started to deal with other procedure,such as paying the Tuition Fee,transferring the census migration,making the library card and physical examination .It was just rained for a week ,and it was cold in the morning ,and I had wore thick clothes already.But that day was really hot ,unfortunately I didn’t brought any summer clothes .
Of course I was too tired when I finished the whole procedures.I was a little homesick when my grandpa and my father left ,I wrote a long diary that night to express my feeling .Then my college life really began in a strange city ,in a foreign language university .I try my best to be a good student ,and I achieved a lot of success in that four yeas.I should say I am proud of myself ,I have no regret to enter into Xi’an International Studies University.XISU,I love you forever.
An unhappy event2007-09-29 22:45 It happened on a crowded bus around 1:30p.m.Sep 29th.
I was just wondering why the bus so crowded at a working-day afternoon.And the old seemed to be more.I guessed it was at the end of the month that they went to the bank to draw their pensions.
Two more old men got on the bus.One of them got a seat easily because someone got off the bus.The other was standing beside a student-look girl.What shocked me was she pretended not to see him,watching outside from the bus window.The old man moved to next seat.This time was a student-look boy.He even didn’t pay his attention to the old man,chatting with his friend.No one gave his seat to the old man until someone arrived at their bus stop.
I just felt confused and angry.Are the girl and the boy being educated in school?Don’t they know the politeness and ethics?I had an impulse to tell them that they should stand up and give their seats at that moment.However,I didn’t have that right.Just hope such kind of people can be less.
