During the Chinese history of over 2000 years, Xun Zi together with his idelogy has remaind a remarkable image and left a far-reaching influence on larer generations. He did not hold noto the old and kept renewing. Open-minded to a variety of schools of thoughts, he combined all the essence of then one hundred academic schools and embraced them into one, so he was a key figure in the development history from the early Qin dynasty to the Han dynasty. Living in an age with feudalism still in its babyhood, Xun Zi represented the emerging landlord class and his outlook on talents was also intended to serve the new class. His goal was to offer management elite to a country, a nation and the political field, which means that his thinking concernng talents was a government-based one belonging to the feudal landlord class, and this thesis is to carry out a survey in regard with the talent values of Xun Zi and further explore such ideology of his and talk about the significance of such a mode of thinking. In the end, a conclusion on the his thoughts is drawn.
