In the way of figure using ,understanding and the application in life, both of English and Chinese are developed by thousands of years.They all have their own national characteristics as well as rich culture backgrounds.To study what are the differences between Chinese and English in figure used has a very realistic significance . It is not only counts in English study but also play an improtant role in the communication of different cultures.However,it always roots in our minds so deeply that the way of how we use the figure with our own cultural custom.Even a person with good cultivation finds it hard to crack down on the influence of the custom.It is far from our imagination that how large the conception of digital culture influence our life.So if we don't know the differences in figure used between east and west,a lot of problems may unavoidably occur,such as misundersding ,unpleasant and tough relationship,and sometimes it may cause some more serious consequances.Considering this ,we foreign language learners must attach much importance to the cultural taboo and distinguish of figure used .What' more,we should have a in-depth knowledge about figure cultue.Only in this way can we communicate with others decenter and more successfully in English and avoid offending others.
