The Beatles is a great band.It will never be too much even if I say that they are the greatest band of the pop music.They have ever been the leading of the times.They have affected one generation not only in music as well as in the dressing,hairstyle,even in the attitude toward the life of people.Therefore,it makes sense to offer this course.However,what I want to say is that they are great and deep inside of people though,they are merely a band.They can only represent a kind of style and a kind of attitude toward life.They may be popular with so many people and received much support from them,but it does not mean that their music and attitude are accepted by everyone.Does this course appear to be kind of limited?In other word,the beatles exert not so much influence on current times as before,at the very least,I do not know much about them,so do people nowadays.Then can we understand in this way that it will not make much sense for us to study them?Finally,I would like to express my viewpoints.If we can extend the stduy of the influence exerted by the Beatles to another level,which is pop music's influence on the society,it would be a better course.
