The cartoon depicts a scenario where an overweight woman has to get her clothes tailored for her because she is too overweight.She looks like a giant compared to the tailor getting her measurements because she is so fat. It seems that her waist is so wide, there was not much of the ruler left after the tailor put it around her waist. She is looking sadly at something that may have been her pants a long time ago that she cannot wear anymore because she is so fat. I think that the meaning of this cartoon may be that the woman has to go through many difficulties such as finding it hard to get clothes that fit her and having to get tailored pants because of her bad eating habits causing her to become overweight. This must be both problematic and embarrassing for her. The cartoon may be implying to us that in our own lives,we should be vary of the food choices we make so that we do not have to suffer the same troubles and humiliation as the obese lady in the cartoon.
