这里两个都是填that/which,where在定语从句中充当的是地点状语,在上面两句话的定语从句中缺少的是宾语,充当宾语和主语的是关系代词,而where是关系副词

1.定语从句,与主句能够结合起来是因为,主从句中有共同的名词或代词：
You visited the factory the other day.This is the factory.
共同的名词是the factory.在主句中被修饰的名词或代词称为先行词,在从句中共同的名词
用关系代词来代替,或用,“介词+关系代词来代替”.当“介词+关系代词”在从句中作
时间,地点,原因状语时,用关系副词when,where,why,来替换.
例：I visited the place.I was born in the place.第二个句子作从句.放在先行词the place之 后.
I visited the place (I was born in which).从句中的the place用关系代词代替.
I visited the place (in which I was born ).并提到句首,引导定语从句.
I visited the place (where I was born ).in which 作时间地点状语,用where替换,从而形成定从.
例：I visited the place.He didn't know the place.
I visited the place(He didn't know the place).主句中共同的词是先行词,将从句放主句后.
I visited the place(He didn't know which).共同的词the place在从句中用关系代词which/that代替.
I visited the place(which he didn't know ).which提到句首引导定从.
