英语雅思中两个句式语法问题

问题描述：

英语雅思中两个句式语法问题
The line graph gives figuresfor the changes of fish,beef and chicken consumed in UK from 200 to 2005.
这句中consumed为什么不用动词be consumed?
还有,如果是类似问题比如讨论环境的话的话能用polluted（形容词）+主语吗?
It is not unrealistic to predict many professionals including doctors,scientists and businessmen choosing to immigrate to a country which provides free and comprehensive medical care
为什么choosing to用加ing形式?
我经常看见雅思句子里面主语后面的动词加ing
比如 Governments increasing the XXXXXXXXXXXX.
请大家告诉我这两处的用法名词,最好能附带解释.

问题解答：

我来补答

e consumed 是以consume做动词然后变被动语态这默认consume是本句的谓语动词
但是题目中主句是The line graph gives figures
后面是状语for the changes
再然后of fish,beef and chicken 介词加名词做形容词成分是定语修饰changes
consumed in UK from 200 to 2005. 使用过去分词短语也是形容词成分修饰前面的fish beef和chicken
你说的polluted 是可以的但是后面加的不是主语 polluted by (cosumed in）都是过去分词短语一定有介词再加名词

第二句和第一句类似
前面是一个it做形式主语的主语从句It is not unrealistic to predict many professionals
还原是 to predict many professionals is not unrealistic
including doctors, scientists and businessmen 是修饰professionals 本质上是现在分词短语做定语
choosing to immigrate to a country 和including部分的结构其实是一样的因为including后面的部分是对professionals的解释和补充所以这部分既可以看作修饰professionals也可以看作对doctors等人的修饰
which provides free and comprehensive medical care
定语从句修饰country

v-ing 和 v-ed 以及 to do 都是非谓语动词你看到的可能是做不同的成分因为不同的原因使用的非谓语动词在英语中使用非常广泛建议系统学习一下
