The Voluntary Work That I Prefer to Do
There are many kinds of voluntary works.And I prefer to make the elderly person of no family company.Because voluntary work means that you make your own kind of contributions to the society without asking for anything in return.And the contribution I want to make the most is to let the lonely old people not lonely anymore.
When people get old,they tend to feel lonely.Because few people would like to communicate with old people.They are often considered slow and nagging.But what we do not know is that comparing to younger people,old people need more care and accompany.We should be patient enough to listen to their old stories which make them feel proud of themselves.The old people made their contribution to the society at their time.And we are now enjoying the benefit of their works.So we can not forget them.Anyone is going to be old one day and becoms slow and nagging.That's also why we should take measures to make them happy now.
In a word,I prefer to make the old people without family company as my voluntary work.Because I want to make the society a better place for the old people to live in.
