2.不同,词性上有区别.

North England 中的north视为名词,专有名词；

north为副词,相当于in/on/to the north of 或 in/on/to the northern part of
3）The tree is in the north of the schoo
north为名词
3.be north of和be in the north of 不能完全互换.
前者的使用范围要比后者更大.
即：be north of = be in/on/to the north of
只有主语在of后面的宾语的范围之内,两者才可以互换.
如：Beijing is north of China.= Beijing is in the north of China.
但是：Beijing is north of Shanghai.
＝ Beijing is to the north of Shanghai.
≠ Beijing is in the north of Shanghai.
