1.put on ,表穿的动作,是终止性动词,
eg:He put on his coat and went out ,
You'd better put on your coat.
2.wear意为“穿着,” “戴着”.表状态,是延续性动词..一般现在时表示经常状态,现在进行时表示暂时状态
eg:She is wearing a red skirt today.(现在进行时表示暂时状态)
The young man wears glasses.(..一般现在时表示经常状态)
3.dress,多指穿外衣,化妆.它的宾语是人,不是衣物,
eg:
Wake up chilren and dress them,
注意!dress 的被动语态be dressed后要接介词in,即be dressed in后可跟衣、物.
eg:
She was dressed in yellow yesterday.
有时dress用作不及物动词,表示穿着的动作,有时表常常穿着的意思.
eg:
The students must dress in uniform at school.
