I believe pessimism is very harmful to individuals as well as the society.
Being a pessimist, life would seem bleak and tough .I personally cannot image how can that kind of people survive, without joy and hope.
For the whole society, pessimists create a atmosphere for the public that everything in life is negative. It is thus harmful for the psychological health of the people. Let’s imagine: if the government is in hand of those pessimists, how can the lead the country to a better future as they all believe there is no bright future for the nation?
Therefore, pessimism is a challenge one has to conquer and these are some of my suggestions.
Firstly, pessimists have to make themselves believe that life is actually beautiful and adorable so they can change their perspective about the world.
Secondly, they may try to interact or make friends with those who are extremely outgoing and optimistic as this may have a positive effect on their attitude.
Thirdly, pessimists can seek help from families and even psychologist. These people would hold their hands as they fight to overcome pessimism together.
