It was time to have lunch.Linda wanted to ride her bicycle (to go) home.But she couldn't find (it).Then she (cried) while she was calling the police.
1.整篇为一般过去时,所以用ride的过去式rode；
2.get home为“到家”,不如go home“去/回家”更通顺；
3.cry动作发生在call the police动作期间,所以前者用一般过去时,而后者用过去进行时.
4.此文有些单词短语重复使用,比如her bicycle,所以有时候能换种说法（比如改成it）.
