要想做对这几道题,首先要明白one, ones, that, those的意义及用法.
one指代不确定的泛指的人或物,只替代可数名词单数.
Yesterday I lost my pen but now I’ve bought one.
昨天我把我的钢笔丢失了,现在我又买了一个.
that替代特定的、但不是同一的事物,既可代单数可数名词,又可代不可数名词.例如：
My seat is next to that of our teacher.我的作为紧挨着我们的老师.
ones是one复数形式,those是that的复数形式.the one等于that.
第一题答案应该是A.one.这里one代表前面的A scientist(表泛指）.
第二题变题有问题,首先题干中的who speaks and writes应该用复数,系动词is应该是are,第二个定语从句who doesn't也得是who don't.
第三题填the one（单数）,those（复数）特指前面提到的the book和the books.
第四题的说法也不对,a book和some books后面都有定语on the desk修饰,应该是特指,所以同样的也应该改为The book和The books才对.
