Making friends is not easy.Sometimes it can take years before you become true friends with someone.I think there are two qualities that a true friend must have.Fristly,true friends should be honest with each other.Being honest means telling the truth all the time,but of course this is not always so easy.Sometimes you do notwant your friends to know something bad about you,such as getting a terrible mark in a test.Then you might want to tell a lie to make yourself feel better,but this is never a good idea.Your friendswill find out the truth sooner or later,and they will feel hurt because you lied to them.The second most important quality of a true friend is being a good listener.You do not want to have a friend whois not willing to listen to your problems,or a friend who might talk about your problems with everybody in school.It is very important for friends to believe each other,so remember,be a good listener when your friends have problems,and keep their secrets.Then you will have many good friends.
