My Three Goals in 2009
With the bell rings of the clock,2009,the New Year is right around the corner.Will this year just go on as the same as the past year?How about making exciting New Year’s goals to let this brand new year be more meaningful and colorful?Well,I am look forward to spending a wonderful year with the three following goals,passing the TOFEL with satisfying score which is higher than 90,getting a driver license and buying a car,and memorizing vocabulary every single day.
Passing the TOFEL with a satisfying score has always been my goal since I knew there is one kind of test that can testify my English level.When I stepped at America,I firmly convinced this.Fortunately,I have registered TOFEL online,and it turned out that the proper time for me to take the test is on the coming up Valentine’s Day.Before I take it,I have to make an effort on practicing.Our everyday class is a good opportunity to do it,and after class the library is an ideal place for study.If I do so,my daily life will be fruitful and I believe there will have a good result as a testimony to my endeavor.
After taking the TOFEL,I will deal with the most inconvenient case,going out limitation.The weather is getting colder and colder,going to Wal-mart by shuttle is not wise but the only choice for me.In order to alter the situation,I decided to get a driver license and buy a car in March this year.First,I am supposed to read the book that the Bureau of Motor Vehicle (BMV) requires,and get familiar with all the rules it said.After that I can take a paper test to get my permit.I hope I can succeed by one time.And then,maybe after two months,I can take the road test.If I pass it,I am qualified to get a driver’s license.Obviously,I must snatch the two waiting months to practice drive a car.I think I can find my friend to teach me.Also,the fundamental thing to get familiar with every word the book said is to have ability to read in English,so here comes my third goal.
For languages learning,words are the unit to form a sentence,English is not an exception.When I was in high school,my English teacher had the significant impact on me of memorizing vocabulary.Nevertheless,I didn’t persevere doing that for a long period.Thanks to I am really interested in learning English,so I plan on continuing memorizing vocabulary to improve my English skills.I will write fifty new words that I see in the vocabulary book in the night in advanced.Or the words can be new which come from my reading.And the next day,I can take out the paper that I wrote down to memorize.Every seven days will be a circulation.I think only in this way will my daily life be colorful and my English have a giant leap.
