英语作文,写信,Friday和Saturday

Dear brother,
New York has been great so far.
We arrived at the hotel on Friday.After unpacking,the tour guide took us to a local trip within the neighbourhood.We went to the Central Park and had a picnic there.Because of the preparation limitations,we only ate sandwiches there that we brought along with us.After going back to the hotel,we sat together and watched a film.
The next day was Saturday.Because it wasn't a working day,none of the companies we were planning to visit was open.The hotel we stayed at had various facilities including an indoor gym.So we went swimming in the roof top pool,and played volleyball in the gym.Everyone in the team was given meal coupons so we also had lunch at the hotel restaurant.In the afternoon after some light rain,we went for a walk.The hotel even had a karaoke bar so we all went there in the evening for our "happy hour".I was made to sing songs and felt quite embarrassed to perform in front of everyone.But we were all having so much fun that nobody cared about my not so pleasant voice.
I think I'm home sick already although it's only been one month that I left home.Please forward my regards to Mom and Dad.I can't wait to be home again next Friday.
