Robert is a truck-driver. His job is to carry goods（货物）from a factory to the train station.Last Tuesday he worked until late at night. He slept only four hours before the sun rose. He had to get up and went on working. That afternoon, at about two o'clock the weather got hotter and hotter and he felt so tired that he couldn't drive the truck. He wanted very much to have a good sleep for a while. So he drove the truck to the roadside, stopped it under a big tree and lay down on the chair.Just then a man came to the truck, knocked at the door and said, “Excuse me, sire, what time is it now?”Robert had to sit up and said, “Two o'clock.”“Thank you very much, sir” The man said and went away. Not long after Robert went to sleep, a woman came and knocked at the window. She asked in a loud voice, “Can you tell me the time, please?”Robert sat again and said angrily, “Five past two.”After the woman left, Robert brought out a piece of paper and wrote on it. “I don't know the Time.” He put it up in the window. Then he lay down for a third time. Several minutes later an old man passed the truck and found the note on the window. He opened the door, woke up Robert and said, “It's a quarter past two, sir.”
