I am happy to know that you are interested in "Learn from Lei Feng Day", let me introduce to you what are the popular activites for Chinese students to do on this day.
I personally helped some of my classmates with their studies by explaining the confusing points of their English study. My classmate Lin Tao went to old peoles' home and took care of them by helping clearing their rooms. My friend Li Ming went to the hospital to cheer the patients by singing songs for them.
